LivTan Salon Policies

At LIVTAN, we are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience for every client. Please review our policies, which help protect both you and our business.

1. Membership Policies

  • VIP Membership Cancellation: Requires a 31-day notice with a signed cancellation request. Cancellations submitted after the 25th of the month will be charged for the next billing cycle.

  • Freeze Requests: Must be submitted by the 19th of the month with a signature. Freezes apply before the next billing cycle.

  • Membership Payment Cycle: VIP memberships are billed monthly on the 25th, covering the 25th to the 24th of the following month.

  • No Refunds for Lack of Use: Membership fees are non-refundable. Clients may use services anytime within their billing cycle.

  • Package Expirations: Sessions and bulk packages expire one year from the date of purchase. Time-based packages (single week, month, etc.) run consecutively and cannot be split into individual sessions.

  • Account Updates: Clients are responsible for updating payment information. Due to high volume, we do not send individual reminders.

2. Tanning Policies

  • UV Tanning Regulations: Florida law allows only one UV tanning session every 24 hours to protect your skin.

  • Equipment Usage: Clients must follow safety instructions and time limits set by LIVTAN staff. We are not responsible for overexposure or misuse.

3. Health & Safety

  • Medical Conditions: Clients with medical concerns, skin conditions, or pregnancy should consult a doctor before using UV tanning, Red-Light Therapy, or spa services.

  • UV Sensitivity & Medications: If taking medications that increase UV sensitivity, consult your doctor before tanning.

  • Age Restrictions: Clients must present a valid ID for age verification. Minors under 18 require written parent/guardian consent for UV tanning.

  • FDA-Approved Eyewear: Required by law for UV tanning. Clients must bring or purchase eyewear at LIVTAN.

4. Payment & Fees

  • Service Payment: Due at booking or time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards.

  • Enrollment Fees: Some membership levels require a non-refundable enrollment fee.

  • No Refunds: Payments for services and memberships are final once processed or used.

5. Behavior & Conduct

  • Salon Etiquette: Clients must maintain a respectful, quiet environment. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Respect for Property: Damage to LIVTAN equipment will result in repair fees.

  • Code of Conduct: Inappropriate behavior or harassment will result in immediate removal from the premises.

6. Service Animal Policy

We welcome service animals but, for their safety, they are not permitted in treatment rooms for services such as tanning or spray tanning. A designated area will be provided upon request.

7. Liability Waiver

  • Use at Your Own Risk: By using LIVTAN services, you accept the inherent risks of UV exposure, spray tanning, and spa treatments. LIVTAN is not responsible for adverse reactions or injuries due to overexposure or improper use.

  • Minors: Clients under 18 must have a signed parental consent form to use UV tanning services.

8. No-Show & Appointment Policy

  • No-Show Fee: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without 24-hour notice may result in a fee.

  • Repeated No-Shows: May require prepayment for future services.

9. Communication & Text Messaging Consent

By providing your phone number to LIVTAN, you consent to receive text messages for appointment reminders, promotions, and account updates.

  • Opting Out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

  • Message Frequency: Expect periodic messages about appointments, promotions, or account notices.

  • Customer Support: Reply HELP or call (863) 450-2925 for assistance.

  • Privacy: LIVTAN does not share your number with third parties for marketing.

10. Surveillance Notice

For security purposes, common areas such as the front desk and waiting areas are monitored by video and audio surveillance to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
